Sets of Four #11 & #12

Hand in sand, San Francisco, 2012. Car in house, Toronto, 2009. The latter was part of a large art project. A row of bungalows was slated to be demolished to make way for (wait for it) condos. Before they were demolished, they were turned over to a group of artists, who worked with high school students, to do a whole series of wild things. We visited the installation in Oct 2009 and Kate took a whole series of photographs. Actually, we drove across town to the installation (Yonge and Sheppard) and realized we'd forgotten the camera, so had to go home, then go back again. "It doesn't matter. We get to spend the day together," I remember saying.
